How does ThermiVa work?
ThermiVa uses controlled thermal energy to precisely target and tighten vaginal tissues. When the ThermiVa device is applied to your labia and vaginal wall, radiofrequency is delivered to gently heat the tissues, causing them to contract and prompting your body’s natural production of collagen.
Radiofrequency has been used safely and extensively in the medical and cosmetic world for many years—and its ability to stimulate tissue remodeling makes it an exceptional option for tightening skin without surgery, needles, anesthesia, or downtime.
After a course of treatment with ThermiVa, patients report a noticeable tightening of genital tissues, in addition to improvement natural lubrication, urinary stress incontinenct, and ability and quality of orgasm.

Patients report that treatment is comfortable and feels like a warm, gentle massage. The thin ThermiVa applicator is specially designed to fit the contours of the vagina comfortably with a gentle curve and rounded edges so it doesn’t irritate the skin. It is normal to feel the heat coming from the applicator, but it should only feel a few degrees warmer than your body temperature.
While you should be physically comfortable, it’s normal to feel a bit of anxiety during the procedure. If you are uncomfortable with the experience or need a break, communicate this with your provider.
How many ThermiVa treatments will I need?
While many patients notice an immediate improvement—and some women are pleased with their results after their first treatment—we recommend a series of three treatments spaced one month apart for optimal results.
Because ThermiVa triggers your body’s natural collagen production, it takes around two weeks for results to appear, though this can differ from patient to patient.
